The Real Problem Traditional Core Stabilization Exercises Aren't
Addressing

The reality is that most personal trainers are never taught how to
identify and correct specific compensation strategies resulting from
muscular imbalances that almost always occur when performing
traditional core stabilization exercises.

due to recurring episodes of pain because only the symptom is treated
and only addressing the symptom will fail to resolve the problem
permanently until the the cause of the lower back pain is identified
and corrected.

Another thing I used to think was that all my clients needed were
abdominal exercises like regular and diagonal crunches performed on a
stability ball and planks to strengthen the core.
