You're going to buy a ready made wooden box (a pre-fab storage
cabinet). We tell you which one and where to buy it; it costs about
$95. Make some strategically placed holes in the cabinet panels,
install a simple exhaust fan. Put together a simple but wildly
prolific hydro bubbler system. The hydro bubbler is kinda like a cross
between top drip and deep water culture. Sit the bubbler inside the
closet/box. Plant six of your best seedlings in it. Hang a lamp in the
top. Automate everything on a timer.
Open door daily to see how many inches the plants grew overnight
(well, maybe a little bit exaggerated...).
THIS THING IS A BLAST! But before you get started, you need to know
up front: you will need to buy the cabinet locally (under $100) and
you will need a (fairly expensive) grow lamp, which you would need for
any hydroponics garden (and we will tell you about a special offer for
a good lamp).

WHY BUY OUR SYSTEM?
If you are a wise consumer, you have probably investigated other
closets or hydroponics bubbler systems available. There are plenty out
there. And you might find some cheaper than ours. _But let me tell you
a few things you need to consider before you buy:_
* Our bubbler system has a roomy 18 gallon nutrient bin. Don't buy
a 10 gallon unit. Not only will you be refilling it too often, the
roots go a little crazy in there, and need a lot of room.
* Ours has a powerful little pump which pushes the grow juice up to
each pot via spaghetti "feeder" tubes. As well, the kit includes a
separate aerator pump and stone to keep the roots and nutrient
well-oxygenated. Some units out there do not provide a feeder, just
the aerator stone. Not a good setup; you would have to topfeed the
plants several times daily by hand if you don't have a feeder pump and
manifold like ours does. And you will not get the rapid growth
continual feeding promotes.
* Some systems only have 2" or 3" net pots. Our system has plenty
of room and includes six nice-sized 4" pots.
* Some systems have holes drilled in the sides and bottom of the
bin for a sight glass and/or drainage port. We have tried those
methods and find that cutting holes in the bin almost always leaks. A
sight glass or tube is also a source for algae to grow. We have come
up with a better solution: an old-fashioned dipstick for determining
nutrient level, and a simple and easy battery-operated liquid transfer
pump to empty out the bin without disturbing the plants. Both the
dipstick and siphon pump are included in your kit. _Simple yet
better..._
* Some systems do not include any food. We give you starter packs
of nutrient concentrate, then tell you the best liquid food to buy for
the future. We include 2-3 months worth of well-buffered food so you
can get up and growing quickly. We even throw in some top quality
Rockwool starter cubes to start your seeds in.
* NOW, ABOUT YOUR LAMP... We want to give you some straight talk
here. Some of the cheaper hydro units throw in a fluorescent lamp and
bulb with their hydro unit. Now a fluoro lamp will work fine if all
you want to grow are kitchen herbs, lettuces and greens... BUT, if you
want to grow a top-notch garden for flowering or fruiting crops
(including flowering medical herbs), you will need to buy an HID LAMP.
And we do NOT include one in these kits. Why not? You need to decide
for yourself what type of light you want for your situation, and buy
that separately. WHY BUY AN EXPENSIVE LAMP FOR YOUR NEW GARDEN? You'll
have to provide special supplemental lighting for your hydroponics
garden. And you'll soon find that this component of your system is
likely to be the most expensive part. An evil necessity!
* Please note that CO2 supplementation will not work under
fluorescent lighting... it takes HID in order to process it.
* Not only do we recommend an HID for your project, we recommend
two different types of bulbs: MH (metal halide) and HPS (high pressure
sodium).

SODIUM GROW LIGHT?
Using Metal Halide grow lights and then switching to High Pressure
Sodium grow lights is THE WAY to grow the best plants possible.

vegetatively growing them under the bright white light of the METAL
HALIDE, then switching over to the HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM’s super bright
orangish/red spectrum for the flowering stage of plant growth. The MH
