There are more federal contracts now than ever! The United States
Federal Government will spend 425 BILLION DOLLARS purchasing goods and
services from American based businesses. They have set aside 97

They all have small business subcontracting programs. It is not
because they are BENEVOLENT but because they are REQUIRED by the US
Federal Government to SHARE THE WORK! 

PRIME CONTRACTORS (LARGE COMPANIES) AND FEDERAL BUYERS ARE LOOKING
FOR YOU.  Federal Agencies are not meeting their Small Business
Contracts goals because there are not enough Small Businesses
successfully competing for federal contracts!  2% is hardly enough to
satisfy the demands of a 425 billion dollar market.

goal for each agency is to award 100 % of its small business
contracts; however none of the agency reached their goal. On average
only 30% of available small business contracts are awarded.

YOU MIGHT BE ASKING IF THE US GOVERNMENT NEEDS GOODS THEN WHY NOT GO
DIRECTLY TO THE MANUFACTURER?

Great Question! The government has a DUTY to PROTECT and NURTURE
 our economy. Below is an example of a bid of a well known name brand
motor oil which could have been purchased directly from the
manufacturer or a large company, but the purchase has been SET ASIDE
FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. 

 What would happen if the largest customer in the world decided to
only purchase its goods and services from large companies?  It would
mean that small businesses could not compete and would be locked out
of the 425 billion dollar marketplace which is not in the best
interest of our economy. The reality is that more than 80% of the
NATION’S EMPLOYMENT COMES FROM SMALL BUSINESSES NOT LARGE
CORPORATIONS.  Therefore if the government did not encourage trade
with SMALL BUSINESSES OUR ECONOMY WOULD COLLAPSE.  Ok I am off my
soapbox. As you can see I am really passionate about the small
business community.

The fact of the matter is you can’t keep ignoring the Federal
Marketplace. The CONSUMER MARKET IS IN A RECESSION. Consumers are
spending less and the cost to capture a new customer is high with very
little return. However in the Federal Market your cost to capture the
largest customer in the world is minimal.  In most cases everything
you need to do is Free!

I am sure you have heard of Companies and Gurus offering to teach
you “How to do Business with the Government” or “How to WIN
Government Contracts”. But none of these services, seminars, or
gurus actually takes you step by step through the process from start
to finish.
