even not choosing a caterer on time. What a disaster that would be!

Let me share the reason I got into the wedding planning business
with you. Many years ago, way before we had the information
superhighway at our finger tips, I spent a great deal of time planning
my daughter's wedding. I had never planned a wedding before and didn't
know where to begin. There were a few books on the market but none
that I found to provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide on planning
a wedding.
Since I didn't have the Internet at my disposal to gather
information, I spent countless hours shuttling around town talking to
florists, caterers, reception venue managers and more. I had no idea

wedding.
I certainly didn't have a clue that I would need to schedule the
ceremony and reserve a date and time for the wedding and rehearsal
9-12 months before the wedding.
Or that I needed to check blood test and marriage license
requirements 4-6 months before the wedding.
Or any of the many other elements that go into planning a wedding.
I was so worried about missing a deadline, I nearly drove myself
crazy! And remember, I didn't have the luxury of the Internet to fall
back on to help provide me the information I needed.
Needless to say, I did get everything done that needed to be done
and I got it done on time. I don't know how, but it was a huge
success. I was frazzled and stressed out most of the time, but I
managed to plan a perfectly executed wedding that will always be one
of the highlights of my daughter's life.
As a result of my trials and tribulations regarding the wedding, I
launched a very successful career as a Wedding Planner and Consultant.
I have helped thousands of brides plan their perfect wedding.
During my career, I would occasionally scan the Internet looking for
new trends in weddings that I could add to my services. Over time, I
became very disillusioned with the abundance of misinformation I found
there for a profession that I had devoted a large portion of my life
to.
