I just wanted to write and thank you! We are already looking on in
amazement as our children eagerly try to earn tickets and not lose

Dear Reader:
A few years ago Rick and I realized that something needed to be done
to increase the love and harmony in our home! We were tired of
listening to constant complaining, whining, arguing, and yelling
amongst our children! We were sick of having to ask our children five
times to do something and we were tired of nagging, cajoling, bribing,
yelling, and giving time-outs!
This is when we started formulating a parenting program called "The
G.O.L.D. Standard." When we started this program, it was as if a
transformation had taken place in our home! Our children started
becoming accountable for their own actions and became more cooperative
and willing to work. The amount of whining and arguing decreased
dramatically!
We have been revising and improving the program ever since that
