The Link Building Black Book

25 Essential Free Link Building Stratagems For 2010 And Beyond

- The Book That The "Search Engine Gods" Don't Want You To Read!

Please note - This site and the products and services offered on this site are not associated, affiliated, endorsed, or sponsored by Google, nor have they been reviewed, tested or certified by Google. Also - I chose the title “Link Building Black Book” because I wanted to create a title that was mysterious and conveyed the fact that the book contains much knowledge and many secrets. The title does not in any way mean that these tactics are “Black Hat”.

Links - an asset to own

Links, so they say, are the lifeblood of the internet. And it's true. Backlinks are the yardstick of your web content's visibility, and of its reputation.

The internet is like a vast banquet table ten thousand feet long, laden with an almost infinite number of dishes of every imaginable kind – and you are the chef who wants their dish to be tasted. It may be the most perfect piece of Salmon on planet earth – but if it just sits there in the middle of the table, surrounded by a million things, others may eat their fill without even noticing it.

Unless you are paying for your traffic, a quality link portfolio is truly the essential "missing factor" that makes the difference between whether a great web page gets ranked in Google and the other major search engines, gets discovered by other web users, or whether it sits out in the digital wasteland - lost, forlorn and unseen.

It's not enough to have quality content. You need to put it in front of people. Exposure is one of the quintessential factors in modern business success, and a good "link portfolio" is a true investment for a web site. You are investing in continued free exposure to your brand over a prolonged period. A good link can possibly make you money while you sleep for several years!

Now it's said by some that you should not link-build, that you should concentrate only on developing your content and rely on "attracting natural links". While this sounds good on paper, for many this strategy simply does not work - and never will. Certain types of content, even if they are of top quality, simply do not get linked to as often as others. For example - an academic paper will not in general attract as many links as a Youtube video - even if it is brilliant. Also, certain audience demographics do not habitually modify web content - and so why would such users ever create hyperlinks? I have many friends who use the internet every day but have rarely, if ever, created an html link in their entire lives - and will likely never build a web page ! And what about “thin client” users such as those who browse with mobile phones and other devices that have no ability to cut and paste, or to create html code?

A modern business needs to advertise - and you still need links. I have researched this – by building super-high quality web pages with more, better free content than the competition, and then leaving them alone to see what happened. I observed as they got absolutely nowhere for a year. Then, I started link-building and watched the search engine traffic - and consequently the revenue from the pages - take off.

It can easily be seen that strategies of "attracting natural links", while desirable, are simply not the entire picture - and for some, they are entirely ineffective. Besides, how can content attract natural links if it is invisible in the first place? "To those that already have, it is given."

Despite the true and easily demonstrable power of a great link portfolio, most web site owners don't do much, if any, effective link building. The subject of link building is often seen as complex. It is shrouded in mystery, deliberate secrecy and sometimes even fear. Webmasters are sometimes so confused and afraid of "getting whacked by Google" that they simply freeze and do nothing.

Almost all of the free information that's out there on the subject is incomplete. It simply doesn't give you enough depth to do the job properly.

On the other hand, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) professionals often charge astronomical fees for getting sites up onto the first page of Google - meaning that the big corporations end up with all the traffic, leaving the small business owner or creative individual struggling. So much for the internet levelling the playing field...

But the good news is that with much of the competition either inactive, uninformed or ill-informed, you are actually in a strong position to achieve success if you have the knowledge and take the right steps.

The Link Building Black Book

Link building does not have to be complex. It can be simple and rewarding - but like driving a car, it does need to be done correctly. You have to know what you are doing.

I've created one of the most complete, compelling and detailed books on the subject of Link Building that you will find anywhere - and am selling it for $9.95.

In this digitally downloadable eBook, weighing in at over 100 pages, I have left no stone unturned and have presented so many strategies and so much information that you will have no need to resort to anything dubious. Also, importantly, this means that you will not neet to outsource - which can be very expensive, in addition to being out of your immediate control.

Furthermore, I have scoured the web for the very best additional sources and have linked to a mountain of information - some of which you will be very unlikely to find any other way as it now only exists as a cached page in the web archive.

Why should you listen to me?

1) First and foremost, I have used strategies in this book to propel my sites to the top of search engines (including #1 in Google, #1 in Google images and #2 in Yahoo), kept them there and made money. Also, to date I have never received any form of spam complaint nor have I ever been banned from a search engine or ISP.

2) Each of my 25 strategies is a complete chapter and a complete subject in its own right - and virtually every strategy has the ultimate potential for many thousands of links if used correctly. Some of these strategies would in theory give you the possibility of millions of links and you would simply run out of time before you used up all the options. Not that you would ever need this many (or should you even attempt it!), but you have the option to choose and I show clever, rapid ways to distil and refine the possibilities down to the ones that are the most useful.

3) You get in depth information - not just telling you "do this" but explaining why. For example, one of my 25 strategies is one that is commonly known: "Submit your site to directories". You get pages of info on how best to do this, a spin on some alternative types of directory that might be useful to you, plus you get an Excel spreadsheet with a database of 500 of the top general directories, combed from thousands - complete with Alexa Ranking and Pagerank. Who else gives you this much? I have never seen another guide to link building give you this much power.

4) The strategies are very diverse. There is material suitable for beginners through to advanced - and in addition to all the major techniques, there are strategies and tips that I have not seen anywhere else. The beauty of having this much range is that each strategy turns up different link possibilities and opportunities you simply would not find any other way. The Link Building Black Book gives you a competitive edge and millions of possibilities.

5) The Link Building Black Book is strongly anti-spam. Depending on how you go about it, link building can make you either popular or unpopular. Throughout the book I demonstrate how to link build in ways that are responsible and respectful - and I provide so many possibilities that you have every opportunity to achieve the success you desire without resorting to any form of foul play. Not only this, but I have demonstrated very strong reasons, often not even considered, why spamming is in fact completely counterproductive.

What the others don't give you... even Google...

It's interesting to note that many SEO experts don't really address the subject of link building. Despite the fact that it is widely acknowledged - even by top experts - that link building is the most important piece of the puzzle, they will typically not give very much actual, detailed advice on building links! Why is this? In my view it's most likely that they are keeping their real methods secret.

There are many blog articles out there with link building tips. However, most of these are simply not thorough enough to enable you to do the job. The biggest of them are usually not more than 4 or 5 pages! I can't see how this will ever be enough to get you past your competitors. The Link Building Black Book is over 100 pages of solid information. Not only that, but my strategies are free to implement (once you buy the eBook for $9.95 of course, and assuming you have a computer with internet access!)

Others will try to sell you expensive software that sends out automated link requests - but have you ever received these emails? They are often annoying, impersonal, clearly sent by a machine, and most often get deleted. You would have to send those requests to an insane number of people to reach the top of the Search Engines.

Even Google themselves, who publish a "Starter Guide to SEO", steer clear of the subject of link building almost completely! They dissuade people from doing it and it seems that they have occluded - possibly deliberately - the most significant factor.

The reason for this is that they want to maintain quality results in their search engine - and so they do not want the search engine results to be deliberately manipulated. I support the idea of a "quality internet" but I must remind people that Google is not the law, nor are they the arbiter of good and evil, nor the owners of the internet. They are a Corporation - and the laws of the internet are not theirs to make. What happens in their Search Engine, web sites and online content is up to them - but there are other reasons to link-build.

The true rules are simply: The rule of law; the rule of being good to others; and the rule of having a business to run! Humans are competitive by nature - and if Google doesn't want people to self-promote through link-building, then I say that they shouldn't use a system that inherently rewards it!

If these methods are so powerful, why are you revealing them?

My strategy was to hold nothing back and to give the most detailed, accurate, complete picture of the subject I possibly could. Why would I do this? First, I wanted to sell lots of copies of my book, of course. But second, because the internet is vast. Few of the people reading the Black Book will be operating in the same niches as me... or you... also my methods are so diverse that we will not be treading on each others' toes. No matter how many copies of the Link Building Black Book I sell, these methods will simply not be known about by most.

There are truly enough linking opportunities to go round. Links level the playing field, which is something that I am into. Let more sites be discovered, not just the big ones - and then the best content will actually get a real chance to float to the top.

What About "Black Hat" link building?

Another area of Search Engine Optimization that you might hear talked about is known as "Black Hat". What is it? Although the exact definition for Black Hat is not quite agreed upon, a good definition would be that it is a complex method of "gaming the internet" that involves bending (if not breaking) the rules, using strategies such as automated "link spamming", web scraping and automatic content generation in order to trick search engines and web visitors; or simply using such methods to get pages and advertisements seen by as many people as possible. It might in theory be used by anyone in any niche, but some possible examples often given are adult content webmasters or advertisers of adult pharmaceuticals. It is typically done to attempt to make money.

Black Hat SEOs are seen as renegades, internet cowboys - and they pride themselves on being "underground", street-smart survivalists. Some love to impress people by talking about their cunning methods - however often they only publicize these when the method is already saturated or expired.

BH tactics, even if they are not downright shady or involving spamming, are often hideously complicated and require enormous techincal knowledge of complex programming languages such as PHP. Not only that, but using them puts yourself at high risk of creating a negative reaction. Some of those methods may be illegal and efforts are made to thwart their progress. For these reasons I can't recommend "Black Hat" tactics. I don't use them and don't think you should either.

Because of a truly astounding discovery I stumbled upon one day, the Link Building black book does give you an astounding revelation about Black Hat that is very uncommon knowledge indeed. However, these discoveries conclude with a clear demonstration of why BH is not a good idea.

Important Note!

For obvious legal reasons, I cannot make any guarantees whatsoever that the link building strategies in the Link Building Black Book will work for you. You undertake them strictly at your own risk. I have done my very best to give only the best, but I make no warranty other than the 60-day product return warranty offered by Clickbank on this product. I've done the best I possibly can to make all information clear, accurate, helpful, up to date and complete but I also make no guarantee that the information is free from error or outdated information.

Another thing to realize is that, like powerful tools of all kinds, many of the truly useful link building methods do have some potential for misuse - and although I give much guidance as to how to use the methods well, I have no ultimate control over how you use them. Giving you these methods is a bit like giving you a car, some driving instruction and a map. I've successfully made the journey myself, but you are the driver and the direction in which you point the car is in your hands.

The number one rule of link building is to pay close regard to the welfare of other internet users and do nothing that would devalue the quality of their experience. It also happens that this very attitude is the one which will win you the game at the end of the day!
