We think the focus of our introduction to Forex Sorcerer ought to be

hopeful about making millions on the sheer weight of our degrees, and
had recently come to terms with a cold, but nevertheless very true,
idea:
Georges experience in college as an electrical engineer seemed set
to make him tons of money after graduation, but the decline of the dot
com boom and related technologies had him scraping pennies for a
weekly box of pizza and looking for rents well outside the going rates
in Silicon Valley in a matter of months.
Umberto spent his undergraduate, and then his graduate, years –all
eleven of them-- studying economics, examining the facets of world
markets and the moving of money from every angle imaginable, and
rather than adding his intellectual weight to a great think tank or
government firm, he found himself managing a bookstore with slightly
more volumes on math and science than most.
As for me, and my names Christian by the way, Ive been futzing
around with computers since I could pronounce the word, and was always
looking for some way to pair my love of logical machines and systems
with something that would make a lot of cash. I studied hard, I got
into one of the best schools in the country, I stayed away from
parties and truth be told, I busted my ass all the way to graduation.
True, I learned some pretty incredible things, and I got to hob-knob
with many excellent professors and great thinkers in the realm of
computer science.
MAGIC IS BORN
For months, George, Umberto, and I would meet up once or twice a
week to shoot the breeze and try to find a way to come up with
something really great, and really big, with which to break free from
the post-graduate struggle. Often, Umberto and I would make fun of
Georges seeming obsession with the Forex market.

and spending the next weekend in Hawaii refusing phone calls and

It was ridiculous, a pipe dream, we thought. But late one night I
decided to put some thought and research into what George had been
saying. Once I started, I couldnt stop. I looked at profiles, at
histories, at theory, at all the major traders and firms, at all the
claims and cries for help. And I realized that lying beneath this vast
network of daily trades and gains and losses, of scores of world
currencies and astronomically large numbers, there was ample room and
a precise fit for a logical way of looking at things. A logical way
that could certainly be managed by a proper automated system.
I brought my ideas for a Forex robot to the drinking table one
night, and we set out to get it programmed, tested, and deployed as
quickly as possible. We didnt waste time putting together a
complicated interface or a bevy of sleek graphics to represent our
