ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Five years ago I hit rock bottom. My family had fallen apart, my
business had gone broke, and my girlfriend had just left me. To the
outside world I may have seemed fairly successful. After all, I had my
own business and I had the latest big boys’ toys and cash to splash.
But my world was a bit different – my business had left me in debt,
my family life was a mess, my relationship with my longtime girlfriend
was over, and I had no vision for my life or future.
At this time in my life I had hit breaking point. I was at home in
the country in my despair. I was mad and upset. I was in pain. I had
hit rock bottom. I then made a decision that would change my life
forever. I decided that I was no longer willing to settle for the
person I once was; that I would never treat people the way I once did,
and that I was no longer willing to settle for a life anything less
than extraordinary. My worst days soon became my best. When you use
your worst days as inspiration instead of desperation, your pain turns
into motivation.
So I took control of my life, and I decided that I was in charge of
my destiny. When my friends were out partying I would be attending
seminars learning from people that had transformed their lives. Even
if I couldn’t afford to go I still attended because I understood
that I could not afford not to acquire the knowledge they were
sharing. I immersed myself in books and anything that would help me
learn, grow, and become more. Instead of listening to the radio when
driving, I’d listen to CDs of anything that would feed my mind –
because I knew if I wanted to turn my dreams into a reality, I would
have to shift my mindset.
Now five years later I have defied the odds and turned my life
around. I now live a life of happiness and passion. My family are
