Before I discovered the solution, I was a chronic compulsive
overeater for over 2 decades.  Each evening, I ate 4 or 5 times
after dinner just to numb myself from the day’s stress.  I buried
my feelings of insecurity in pasta.  I celebrated my short-lived
victories of promotions and awards with Oreo cookies.  My anger was
subdued by ravaging a bag of Nachos.  Food was basically my sedative
that put me to sleep each evening. At my worst, I was 200 pounds.

Like everyone else out there I had tried the low-fat, no-carbs,
high-protein diets and just about anything else you can think of, but
nothing ever worked for me, like Im sure they havent worked for you
either.

Then one day, I hit rock bottom and became committed to finding a
cure.  I knew that the $60 billion weight loss industry and their
“experts” had no clue.  Overweight people know that skinless
chicken, brown rice and fresh broccoli are wiser choices than a Big
Mac, fries and a chocolate shake. The problem is that millions of us
are addicted to food; our inner drive to eat unhealthy overpowers our
inner drive to eat healthy.  No matter how badly we want to lose
weight, we just can’t seem to control our eating.  I discovered the
real reason why our addiction is so strong: we are disappointed with
our lives.  We don’t know how to change things.  Our lives lack
real meaning and purpose.  Our passions and abilities are
underutilized.  We have spiritual and emotional deficits that we try
to fill up with food.   And we don’t have anyone who can truly
motivate and inspire us to achieve our goals.

In my year-long research, I compiled a workable method by which a
food addict can finally put a stop to their illness, and embrace the
abundant life they were called to live.  By using the techniques in
this book, my weight literally “fell off” and more importantly I

leadership positions in the US and Europe, Lindis chose to embark upon

has an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at
Binghamton.  In addition, she has studied theology at Talbot
Theological Seminary (California), psychology at Chapman University
(California), and coaching from the International Coaching Academy.
Lindis lives in Norway with her husband and three children.

SPECIALIZATIONS: 

Lindis long business experience has largely been in financial
services in which she held numerous leadership positions in marketing,
sales and customer service (Credit Suisse Asset Management,
Commonfund, Capital Group, General Electric). Lindis is in the
Certified Professional Coach Program (CPCP) at the
International Coach Academy.  The intention is to achieve
certification from the International Coaching Federation by year
end 2010.
