WHAT IS ENERGY1(tm)?
Hi, my name is Ozzie Freedom. I was a radar guy for 25 years and I

WHAT ARE SCIENTISTS SAYING ABOUT HEALTH RISKS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC
POLLUTION?
The WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION says: "Scientists have reported other
health effects of using mobile phones including changes in brain
activity, reaction times, and sleep patterns."
In another document they reported that "exposure may suppress
secretion of melatonin, a hormone connected with our day-night
rhythmssuch suppression might contribute to an increased incidence of
breast cancer."
In the same report they added: "In 1979 Wertheimer and Leeper
reported an association between childhood leukaemia and certain
features of the wiring connecting their homes to the electrical
distribution lines. Since then, a large number of studies have been
conducted to follow up this important result. Analysis of these papers
by the US National Academy of Sciences in 1996 suggested that
residence near power lines was associated with an elevated risk of
childhood leukaemia (relative risk RR=1.5)" [this number means that
your children are 50% more likely to develop leukemia if you raise
them near power lines].
The CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES has published that
"Recent scientific studies have suggested a link between
power-frequency (60-Hz) electromagnetic fields and adverse health
effects, particularly childhood cancer."
The U.S. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENCES (NIEHS)
also admitted scientific evidence that exposures to Electro-Magnetic
Fields (EMF) might cause leukemia.
Professor (physics) Denis L. Henshaw of the University of Bristol,
UK, published a research in 2002, based on the findings of the US
National Institute on ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENCES (NIEHS), THE
INTERNATIONAL AGENCY FOR RESEARCH ON CANCER (IARC) AND THE UK NATIONAL
RADIOLOGICAL PROTECTION BOARD ADVISORY GROUP ON NON-IONISING RADIATION
(AGNIR). These three scientific bodies, he says, "now agree that
magnetic fields are a possible carcinogen." [causing cancer].
According to Henshaw's findings, these world-known scientific
sources report the following health risks associated with exposure to
Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMF):
* Miscarriage
* Childhood leukemia
* Adult leukemia
* Adult brain cancer
* Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis [ALS a progressive and usually
fatal disease caused by the degeneration of motor neurons - the nerve
cells in the central nervous system that control voluntary muscle
movement. Renowned physicist Stephen Hawking is the best-known living
ALS patient.]
* Suppression of the 'anti-cancer' action of melatonin on cancer
cells
* Depression of nocturnal melatonin
* Suicide, Depression and depressive symptoms.
Any radio, TV, cellphone, home cordless phone - or any other
wireless device you're using right now - utilizes the same principles
of electro-magnetic fields. They cannot operate without it. Your
cellphone, RIGHT NOW whether you are talking on it or not, uses
electromagnetic energy to transmit and receive information.
So what is the problem then, with Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMF)
today?
The problem is this: we have created too much of it! And we have

Young children and teenagers, who are the most vulnerable to
Electro-Magnetic Fields (EMF), are nowadays bombarded with the most
EMF radiation with their electronic toys, video games, cellphones and
what not. Examine your child's environment and pockets and see for
yourself. DON'T BE FOLLED BY THE SMALL SIZE - DUE TO ITS NEARNESS TO

Tamara Jo Mariea, PhD, Environmental/Biochemical and Certified
Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) from Tennessee, USA, works with children
affected by autism. She published her work in July of 2006, alerting
the public to the fast rise in autism today - 1 in 150 children -
compared to 1 in 10,000 children in the 1970's - a jaw-dropping rise
of 6,666%!!!
On the section of her website dedicated to autism they say: "our
environment is being polluted by something we don't hear much about
yet in this country, electromagnetic radiation - or more simply the
radiation energy coming out of cell towers, cell phones, Wi-Fi
equipment and many other electronic devices. convinced there is a
correlation between this type of assault on the children's bodies and
the autistic children she sees in her studio."
Another long-known research into the field of electromagnetic
pollution has been done by , a noted science journalist, is the author
of the books "Current of Death" and "The Great Power-Line Cover-Up:
How the Utilities and the Government Are Trying to Hide the Cancer
Hazard Posed by Electromagnetic Fields" (see Chapter 24). Brodeur was
one of the first to alert the public about the dangers of EMF, and
warned that exposure to EMF throws the body into a condition called
"adaptation stress" - the body suffers while you're trying to adapt to
the new harsh environment.
Some of the symptoms identified by Brodeur as EMF-related:
headaches, backaches, fatigue, confusion and increased emotional
volatility, as well as difficulty to concentrate and focus. Brodeur 's
research, similarly to Tamara Mariea's research mentioned above,
indicated possible links between these symptoms and EMF - possibly
leading to wrong labeling of children as having "learning disorders."
The famous London newspaper, the "Daily Mirror" published in April
2005 the results of a research into how EMF - especially cell phones -
affect children and adults. Scientists from the Neuro Diagnostic
Research Institute of Marbella, Spain, found that a cellphone call
lasting 2 minutes can open the child's "blood-brain barrier," thus
allowing toxins in the bloodstream to cross this blood vessel gateway
into the skull and attack brain cells.
Furthermore, those 2 minutes of cell phone use could disrupt the
electrical activity of a child's brain for up to an hour AFTER THE
CALL, affecting the child's mood, and could damage the child's ability
to concentrate and remember - hence "learning disorders" that are
simply the cause of a SHORT cell phone use. This is very alarming data
because the cell phone industry nowadays is targeting the highly
profitable children's market, and being attacked for the ethics
implications. What would be the long-term effects of their ethics? How
many more millions with "learning disorders"???
MY ALARMING DOMESTIC RESEARCH
In my city, Los Angeles, I was alarmed to find a large neighborhood
COVERED like a giant fishnet made of high tension power lines.
In particular, I noticed the area between Ilex Avenue, Snelling and
El Dorado. I observed that the population is families that love
children, and parents were walking about with lots of young children
and babies.
My EMF meter went crazy and you can see it in the photo below. All
measurements went to the highest range and stayed there wherever I
went in the neighborhood, just under the lines and near the homes.
The meter in the photo above was tuned to the same range that gets
the most readings whenever a cellphone is active nearby, as shown in
the photo below. My estimation is that the actual level or electrical
pollution in that neighborhood is much, much higher. In my humble
non-medical opinion, this is VERY BAD for the health of the many young
families living in that neighborhood.
