For me it all came to a head one year when I was teaching; the
Principal at the beginning of the school year assigned Carl to be in
my class.
Carl was a six year old with big puppy dog brown eyes, a smile that
melted the toughest heart, and the reputation of being the biggest
behavior problem child in the school! Carl lived up to his reputation,
and by the end of the first day I was frazzled and exhausted.
By the end of the first week I knew that my usual techniques were
