Dear athelete or fitness enthusiast,

Thanks for stopping by. I'm guessing you're here because you've hurt your shoulder, right? If so, don't worry, your search is over - you're in the right place to get it sorted, once and for all.

But, before we get onto healing your shoulder, I want to tell you a quick story about how this website came into existence, and exactly why I'm qualified to be talking about shoulder injuries.

It all started a few months ago, in the gym...

I was lying on my back, on a bench, with a barbell in my hands, lowered to my chest with a huge stack of iron on either end. I took a deep breath, steadied myself, and pushed.

Everything went fine for the first couple of inches, then I felt a sharp twang on the rear of my left shoulder, and a flash of sudden shearing pain. Quickly, I pressed the barbell the rest of the way up and tipped it back onto it's rest.

I sat up, cautiously. My shoulder didn't hurt any more, but I vividly remembered that worrying "twang". Something had gone wrong during my bench press, but why? I'd been bench pressing for years!

I didn't know it at the time, but I'd just torn my rotator cuff. Although it didn't hurt immediately, over the next few days the pain got steadily worse and worse. Sharper, more intense, more searing and giving me less and less confidence in my shoulder.

I couldn't sit properly without it bothering me, I couldn't get comfortable in bed, I couldn't lift my arm overhead without pain... basically, I couldn't do everything I normally do, including training in the gym.

To put it mildly, I was absolutely devastated, as I'm sure you'll understand if you're suffered any sort of shoulder injury.

When you injure your rotator cuff (or shoulder in general), it quickly becomes obvious how much you rely on your shoulder for everyday activities, and life gets much harder pretty quickly when it doesn't work properly.

But what can you do? You've hurt your shoulder, but you're not entirely sure how, why or what you should do to stop the pain and heal the injury.

Well, you've already made the first step towards recovery - you found this website!

But before we get onto that, let me tell you what I did next...

I went to see my doctor. He gave me a brief examination, checking flexibility, mobility, range of motion and simple strength tests, and diagnosed me with a sprain. He prescribed rest and anti-inflammatory medication to keep swelling to a minimum.

So, I did as I was told, went home and rested. For four weeks.. but nothing improved. Taking the anti-inflammatories did cover the pain, but I wanted it to go away completely, not just be covered up!

I decided I had to take matters into my own hands, and began researching everything I could about shoulder anatomy, physiology, injuries, treatments, surgeries and anything related to the upper body that might be relevant to me and my injury.

I scoured books in the library, hundreds of websites, pestered dozens of experts, physical therapists, bodybuilders, powerlifters, doctors and anyone else who knew anything about shoulders.

All of this took time though. In total, I spent just under 6 weeks compiling the information I needed, all the while struggling through day to day life with a painful and irritating shoulder.

Once I had discovered enough about my condition and how to go about fixing it, I began to devise my own comprehensive rehabilitation program.

An Incredible Secret

And that's where the idea for "Get Strong Shoulders" was born. You see, not only did I find out enough about shoulders to fix what I'd done to mine, but I discovered a secret that powerlifters and strength trainers had been using for years to keep themselves injury free.

This secret, when applied properly to your training, can keep you injury free forever. I'll you more about it in a second.

When I realised what I'd stumbled on, I decided I had to get the word out and stop other people suffering like I had.

After spending weeks blindly struggling through wrong-turns, dead-ends, bad advice, misdiagnosis from my doctor and virtually never-ending pain in my shoulder, I didn't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing.

My Recovery

But before I could build a website and release the secret I had uncovered into the athletic world, I had to sort out my own shoulder. I dived headfirst into my now complete rehabilitation program.

For almost 3 months, I patiently and diligently carried out my daily rehab routine, documenting everything as I went along. I kept track of
Which stretches gave the best impact, and which weren't any good. Which exercises were working well and which were a waste of time. What supplements had a beneficial effect and which didn't. How much weight I was lifting each week, and how strong my shoulder was. The range of motion I could achieve without pain in all directions.
As I progressed, I was still constantly researching and discovering new stretches, exercises and supplementation ideas, which I tested out and incorporated into my daily rehab routine.

I adjusted my routine as I progressed, and gradually begain to regain strength, mobility and flexbility in my shoulder.

Best of all, the pain began to subside.

It was incredible. I went from being almost crippled in pain and with a completely useless shoulder, to waking up in the morning feeling refreshed, well slept and ready for another day. I started using my arm again, carrying shopping and reaching high shelves without any trouble.

I began to look forward to my rehab sessions with almost delirious excitement because I knew that it was making me better, one day at a time.

In the rehab sessions themselves, as I added weight to particular specially chosen exercises, I felt like I was getting back to a normal routine in the gym. It was amazing! I couldn't believe it was this easy to do, and it only took me a few minutes each day.

As the days passed and my sessions progressed, my shoulder freed up more and more. I could do more, with less pain, and I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was so excited about being completely healed, and getting back to normal, that I began to think about what might happen after I was finished with the rehab.

The Birth Of Get Strong Shoulders

And so my attention turned back to the secret, and to all the knowledge I'd gained over the last few months. How I was going to put it into practice, and how I could share it with the world so that everyone could benefit from it?

The trouble was, I couldn't just tell people - no one would take it seriously. They'd read it, scoff to themselves and go somewhere else looking for a miracle cure.

They'd probably visit dozens of doctors who'd all give different opinions, pay for expensive personal training or a fitness instructor who wouldn't be any good, or even try the worst thing you can do: push through the pain and hope it'll go away.

Actually, I should take a moment to reinforce that - if your shoulder (or any other part of you for that matter) hurts, STOP EXERCISING WITH IT IMMEDIATELY. Pain is our body's way of telling us something is wrong, and if you ignore that, you ignore it at your peril.

Imagine you suffered a simple muscle sprain, and you push through the pain and continue lifting heavy weights or pitching baseballs with as much force as you can muster. That sprain could turn into a micro-tear, which could develop into a partial or full tear requiring surgery and extended recovery periods.

Always stop and assess the situation, then rest or abort your training session if you need to.

Anyway, back to the secret. I wanted to share it, and I also wanted to help people who didn't know about it and had injured their shoulders. And that's why the "Get Strong Shoulders" book was created - as a guide for fixing shoulder injuries yourself, in your own time, in your own home without spending huge amounts of money or risking expensive and dangerous surgery.

I wanted to create a guide which was comprehensive enough to cover all sorts of shoulder injuries, including:
Rotator cuff sprains and tears Rotator cuff tendonitis (sometimes known as tendinitis) Muscle sprains, tears and imbalances Shoulder impingement Bursitis, and pain related to adhesive capsulitis Minor Acromio-clavicular injuries Post surgical rehabilitation General mobility, flexibility and range of motion problems General loss of shoulder strength
And so I did. I wrote everything I knew about shoulders, contacted many of the experts I had previously consulted with to get them to help and contribute, and compiled everything into a easy, readable format in simple terms that anyone can use.

But what's the point of this story?

Plain and simple: it's to show you that I know what I'm talking about. I've been where you are, I've been through a serious and painful rotator cuff injury, and I've come out the other side pain-free and stronger than before. It is possible, and it's now up to you to take the next step.

The "Get Strong Shoulders" guide is finished, complete and available today. It can and will help you rehabilitate your shoulder back to full strength. All you've got to do is open it, read it, and put it into practice.

Medically Proven

There's one more thing I should mention - you may have noticed at the top of this page there's [a recommendation from a medical doctor](#doc).

Get Strong Shoulders is officially doctor approved. I spent a lot of time and energy seeking out a professional Orthopaedic Doctor to read through the guide and make sure the contents were safe, accurate and up to date with the latest techniques being practised in medicine and physiotherapy.

After thoroughly reviewing the material in the book, Dr Goddard gave it a stamp of approval and officially endorsed it for use with minor shoulder injuries (note, the word "minor" is used because obviously if you require surgery, you can't perform that yourself!).

That means the advice you're about to receive in my book is the same as what you'd get if you went to see an Orthopaedic Doctor. I really do know what I'm talking about, and so does a doctor with years of professional experience and training.

PLUS... Not only did I get an Orthopaedic Doctor to review the book, but I also got a Certified Athletic Trainer with a Master's degree in Sports Medicine to give me his opinion. Here's what he said:

"Wow! I am glad to have found this book. It is a wonderful resource for me to give to my clients who are battling shoulder pain. Not only does it provide stretches and exercises, it also covers supplements and common injuries."

"A nice tool for injury prevention and injury recovery. This should be used by people taking on their pain by themselves, and should be shared with by patients with their Doctors and Physical Therapist."

"My goal is always client education and injury prevention. This book takes care of those things. I would recommend this to all my clients who are, or who may be battling, shoulder pain."

Who Is This Book For?

This book is for anyone who has suffered a minor shoulder injury, whether that's a rotator cuff sprain, rotator cuff tear, tendonitis, impingement, bursitis or general muscular pain in the shoulder.

Here's a few examples of people who might need this guide:

Geoff, 48, tore his rototator cuff during a seated military press exercise in the gym. He lifted too much weight and arched his back during the lift, putting unnatural stress on his shoulder. Luckily for him, the tear is minor and can be easily rehabilitated at home.

Sally, 23, sprained her shoulder while playing netball. She jumped up to compete for an incoming pass with another player, slipped on her landing and fell onto her shoulder. Fortunately, she braced herself and didn't do any major damage, and can quickly rehab her shoulder back to full strength.

Tom, 32, has been a hobbyist swimmer for years. His favorite stroke is freestyle, and he spends several hours a week swimming lengths. Unfortunately for Tom, a mild impingement has formed in his left shoulder due to poor stroke technique and insufficient warm ups and warm downs after his sessions. Some simple stretches and strengthening exercises, as well as a few basic modifications to his training routine can have him back to normal in no time.

Jimmy, 19, wants to get into strength training and bodybuilding. He knows about the importance of the shoulder in overall body makeup, and wants to make sure his stay strong and injury free. He uses the guide to add some extra exercises into his routine to keep his shoulders tough and ready for action.

Lucy, 55, suffered a painful injury when out walking her dog. The dog pulled on the lead and jarred her shoulder, resulting in tendonitis -like symptoms. She can expect to rehab her shoulder and resolve the pain in a few weeks of simple treatments and stretches, taking only a few minutes per day.

There are many cases where the shoulder can be injured during everyday activity, and Get Strong Shoulders will cover pretty much all of them. Fixing your injuries is easy, and only takes a few minutes per day in the comfort of your own home.

Remember, this guide is absolutely proven. I developed it to heal my own rotator cuff tear, and it worked perfectly. Now it's been redeveloped, refined and approved by an Orthopaedic Doctor, it's ready for you to use.

As far as I know (at the time of writing), this is the ONLY guide of it's kind available on the internet - by that I mean written by someone who's actually been through an injury, and fully and officially approved by a medical professional.

Having this guide by your side at home or in the gym is like having a dedicated personal trainer with you at all times. Years of experience have been condensed into 50 pages of solid instructional material to help you resolve your pain and bring your shoulders back to normal.

The Get Strong Shoulders "toolkit" of techniques is based on experience, and real world proven use. You will learn everything that I learned, and put it into practice to keep your shoulders strong and pain free.

Remember what life was like before your injury?

Remember how you could lift your arm overhead, carry heavy shopping bags, sit comfortably, lean or lie on your shoulder without pain, play sports or do weight training in the gym?

Compare that to how you feel now. I used to feel trapped, claustrophobic and useless. I couldn't do anything I wanted to, and even just sitting around used to cause me serious pain, either immediately or worse, the day after.

If you're anything like me you'll recognise that description. Debilitating shoulder injuries are amongst the worst kind of injury to have. They often aren't serious enough for any major treatment, but if left untreated they can linger for years, sometimes even becoming permanent in extreme cases.

But, that doesn't have to be the case. You can get over the pain and back to normal, and [you can start today](#order) with Get Strong Shoulders!

You might not think it, but in fact tracking your progress is incredibly important when recovery from an injury.

It's vital to know where you've come from and what you've done to get to where you are now.

It is easy to forget how far you've come, since you only see very small day to day changes. Even doing something as simple as recording your pain level (on a scale of 1-10 for example) each day can show you how much you've achieved very quickly.

The progress charts included in this bonus are specially designed and developed based on my experiences of recovery, and everything I kept track of (or wished I'd kept track of!).

You'll be able to record your progress in minute detail in a few minutes, and have a look over how far you are along your rehab at the end of each week.

Not only does this help you plan your next week of rehab sessions, but it's inspiring and motivational - let's face it, being injured isn't a nice thing, and we need all the help we can get.

Since shoulder injuries are so different, wide ranging and often complex, it helps to have information from as many points of view as possible.

My main experience is with a torn rotator cuff, but in this bonus I've included interviews with 4 more experts in their fields (either medical experts or an "expert" because they've experienced a particular type of injury).

Interview 1: Tendonitis + Bone Spur - a hobbyist weight lifter and body builder suffered from tendonitis and a bone spur which required surgery and post-surgical rehab to recover.

Interview 2: Rotator Cuff Tear - a 64 year old male fitness enthusiast tore his rotator cuff during a bench press, after feeling a light "pop" in his shoulder. After a short course of rehab, his shoulder is now fully recovered.

Interview 3: Shoulder Impingement - a 37 year old female swimmer and triathlon competitor unfortunately developed an impingement in her shoulder. She followed a course of massage and physiotherapy and recovered in time for a major event.

Interview 4: Broken Clavicle - a sports enthusiast and Iron Man triathlete injured his collar bone in a sporting accident, and subsequently required shoulder rehab to regain full range of motion and strength.

The expert interviews are each several pages long, and give a frank and personal account of

During my recovery, I spent countless hours trawling through the depths of the internet looking for useful tips and tricks, experts and authoritative knowledge bases of information.

What's more, this guide will be useful for the rest of your active and sporting life. The information will pretty much never go out of date, unless our shoulder anatomy changes drastically in the next 100 years (which it won't!).

But, I want this guide to be available to everyone, regardless of their profession or the type of injury they have suffered. With that in mind, the full price for the Get Strong Shoulders eBook is a one time fee of $99.95.

SPECIAL OFFER: As part of our limited special offer (which includes the 4 bonuses above), we are temporarily dropping the price of the Get Strong Shoulders package to $49.95 - that's half price!

Now think again what price you'd be prepared to pay for pain-free shoulders for the rest of your life. I hope that the price of Get Strong Shoulders is less than the figure you came up with. Even if it's not, think about it for a second. For the price of one-month's mobile phone bill, or a night out for a meal and a movie, you could have strong and stable shoulders forever.

I guess I should let you in on that special secret I uncovered now - the one that can almost guarantee you injury-free shoulders forever.

It's actually pretty simple, and there's a massive clue in the name of the guide... So, here we go:

Strong shoulders, are safe shoulders.

By keeping your shoulders strong, you dramatically reduce the risk of injury, because your muscles and rotator cuff can bear more stress before they break.

To implement this secret in your training routine or athletic or sporting activities, simply add one dedicated shoulder strengthening session to your routine each week.

This one session should consist of stretching for flexibility, and - most importantly - strengthening the rotator cuff and shoulder stabilising muscles such as the upper back and serratus anterior muscles. Of course, you should work on your deltoids to keep them strong, but it is advisable to train your deltoids in another session.

You can find out which stretches and exercises you should do in the Get Strong Shoulders guide, and then you can start right away.

It might not seem like a ground breaking, earth shattering secret, but it is the bare truth: keep your rotator cuff and shoulder strong, and it will last you a lifetime.

What To Do Now

You have two choices. The first is easy to do, but will hurt you more in the long run - do nothing, continue struggling day to day with your pain, and hope that it will magically go away (which it won't).

The second make much more sense - purchase Get Strong Shoulders, read it and start rehabilitating your shoulder immediately. In as little as 6 weeks, you could be 100% pain free and back to normal.

I think, and I'm sure you'll agree, that there really is only one choice, and that is to take your injury by the scruff of the neck and start treating it.
