Hi, I'm Robert Gordon, the creator of Abs for Athletes, the system designed to show you how to overcome yourself.

I spent years searching for answers to be a better, faster, and stronger athlete. Along my way, I found the keys to building a body you can be proud of. It takes three things to get a six pack: planning, record keeping, and follow through.

Use Abs for Athletes for 60 days FREE
I'm so convinced that my fat loss and training system will teach you to overcome your mental and physical fat loss barriers that I'm giving you my program free for the first 60 days. I want you to use my program for 60 days. Keep detailed records. If you are dissatisfied with your results, I'll send you your money. The training will have cost you nothing.

Six Pack Fiction Debunked:

The key to losing weight and burning fat is to skip meals. Skipping meals causes your body to go into starvation mode, sucking in calories when you finally do eat. That’s why research shows that people who eat breakfast have lower body mass index: they are fueling their metabolism.
Working out for longer periods of time will causes me to burn fat faster. High-Intensity Training will burn fat up to 900% faster than steady-staight cardio or low intensity exercises. You will actually burn more by doing less.
Six Packs come from situps. Doing situps does not burn body fat. In fact, you can completely skip ab exercises and get an amazing six pack. I don’t do ab exercises because I work my abs by doing compound lifts. If you want bigger arms what do you do? Eat more and work them out. So, to get a learner stomach you MUST focus on burning fat through training.
You have to run seven days a week. False! I will show you how walking 45 minutes a day or doing a sport you enjoy can lead to a six pack in 1 month.
Some people are just not able to burn fat and get lean because they are genetically unable to lose weight and will never have a six pack.Look at pictures of war prisoners. How many people in Nazi WWII camps were fat? We know it is genetically possible to lose weight.

Your Key to Long Term Success

How long have you dreamed of having the perfect set of abs? How many new year’s and birthdays have gone by where you told yourself you were going to make a difference in your life, and build a body to be admired?

We’ve all been there. We’ve all experienced failure on the way to meeting our goals. But I’m here to tell you that Thomas Edison was right: learning faster comes from failing faster. You’ve been an athlete. You’ve worked hard. You’ve spent countless hours in the gym and in the kitchen, training your gut and training your muscles. Its painful to continue to fall short of your goals. I got to a point in my life where I was tired of falling short. I read everything, observed others, and put my research to work. Your six pack is simply hiding behind a little fat and a lack of motivation.

What does it actually take to get six pack abs?

I can tell you how to get six pack abs because I actually did it and maintain them year round. I also train other athletes to get six packs, as well as improve their strength and endurance.  As you can tell from my picture, I am not some genetic wonder. I started out as a kid with skinny arms and legs but a big gut.  As a kid, many of my insensitive neighbors would ask me “if I had swallowed a basketball?”  Although humorous now, it was pretty painful back then.  I naturally have the orange for a body with 4 toothpicks sticking out  for arms and legs.  Not a real good look . Why do athletes get results so much faster then the general population?

Although already mentioned, athletes are accustomed to physical exercise and know how to push themselves.  Athletes interested in improving themselves are normally highly motivated individuals.  With most clients you usually have to encourage them to do more. With athletes you have to make sure they are not over doing it.
If you are an athlete or ex-athlete you have already reached a high level of both physical conditioning and muscular strength.  The most difficult portion of training is to acquire a physical skill or characteristic.  Once you have accomplished it and your body has acclimated to it, maintaining it is relatively easy.  Through the process of muscle memory your body is able to retrieve skills and physical attributes you have long since forgotten.

You have already done the most important thing, the rest is just details

Through all of the clients I have trained, getting them used to the feeling of exercise is far and away the most difficult.  Anytime I trained an athlete it was such a relief for me to just be able to train the client, without having to constantly poke and prod, and assure them that this is how effective training feels. I am not a NO PAIN NO GAIN type of trainer, but improving requires you pick the right time to push yourself to your capacity.

Just Like Riding a Bike

Your body has all of these past skills and abilities just waiting for you to access them.

Just like if a musician stopped playing for a time and returned, his improvement would far surpass yours as novice because he has already put the time in and has developed muscle memory.  Even though he might not be as sharp when he first begins to play, his improvement is going to be astounding.  Well YOU HAVE THE SAME ADVANTAGE!!  You have developed yourself physically before, it will not take nearly as much to get you above and beyond your former self.

So what? You say. I’ve always wanted to lose weight and have a six pack. Why will abs for athletes be any different? You will lose weight because I will show you step by step how to get there, and I prove my methods all along the way.

You should always demand results from your products, but most of all, demand results from yourself.  I believe that each of us desires to be our best self, and at times lack the motivation to get there.

The HUGE advantage you didn’t know you had

I can always tell within the first minute of exercise if I am training an athlete or former athlete.  For the majority of the population, exercise  is a foreign experience.  Most people have never put themselves through a tough or strenuous workout.  The idea of a workout for most people is a leisurely walk around the block.  While walking is a great activity to do, unless you combine it with some more intense forms of exercise you will never achieve the dramatic results you want.  As an athlete either current or past, working out and pushing yourself is second nature to you.
