A little about us:
We are Allan Lehman and Lorraine Lambright, a brother and sister duo. We are also direct descendants of the amish and cook and eat like this almost every day (we all cheat once in a while).
Our parents were born and raised Amish and didn't leave the church until they were married. They were raised in Northern Indiana within 20 miles of the famous Essenhaus in Middlebury, and The Blue Gate restaurant in Shipshewana. Most or our relatives on our mothers side of the family are still Amish to this day.
As children we were raised on the family farm in the Conservative Mennonite faith and have since moved on to our own churches, still keeping the Amish influence very much a part of our lives. And yes, we still talk the Amish language, though not as much as we used to.
What's included!
Included in this book are recipes that you have come to love, I'm sure, and many of you have probably never thought of. Many of these recipes you will probably not find anywhere else on the WWW, simply because these are our own and have been changed over the years. Making them much better.

I think the recipes in this Amish Cookbook are awesome! There is a large variety of recipes and most of he recipes have ingredients tht you already have in your kitchen. There are recipes my Grandmother and Great Grandmother used to make that I forgot about. There are recipes that look so-o-o good , I will have to try them.
