I've done a ton of business by placing a small ad in the Enquirer
classified section. I do what's called two-step advertising where I'll place an ad about weight loss with a toll-free number that's attached to a voice mail (or you can include a website address). People will call in and leave their name and address. I'll send a mailer to them. Since they requested it, I get a very high percent of orders compared to cold mailing lists. I'll get up to 10% orders versus only 1%!
