Home Brew - How to Brew Beer - Better Your Brewing!

IF YOU ARE SICK OF BREWING BEER THAT EVEN YOUR ALCOHOLIC UNCLE TURNS
DOWN, YOU'RE PROBABLY MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES I WAS...

Dear Future Master Brewer,

Imagine being able to brew beer that's as good (if not better) than
the stuff you buy at your local pub. And I'm not just talking about
the regular kind of beer that everyone drinks...

Oh no, I'm talking about the types of beer that you usually have to
go to Europe to drink. It's one thing to enjoy a beer made by some
European guy named Karl-Heinz, but it's another thing altogether to
have one that you brew yourself.

Can you imagine what it's like to be able to invite your buddies
over for a couple of cold ones and instead of pulling the usual bland
beer out, you impress them so much with your own beers, that they beg
you to show them how to do it?

And better yet it will only cost you around 50 cents per bottle...

It's true that you can brew great beer first time every time. But
for most people, this isn't the case. Most inexperienced brewers make
simple mistakes that ruin their batches. Maybe they don't clean well
enough, maybe they don't boil the wort properly, who knows.

But the dream of being able to brew any sort of beer quickly goes
out the window. At least it did for me...

So Who Am I Anyway?

I'm just a regular guy who is passionate about home brew. I never
really knew much about home brew, but I did like a beer or two. But
all that changed one Easter Sunday when my Uncle brought a couple of
strange looking beers over.

He seemed pretty keen to have me and my other Uncles try one, so I
cracked one open and had a sip. It tasted pretty damn good, although
it wasn't like the regular beer I'd been drinking since I was 18 or
so.

So I got talking with him and learnt a few things about home brew.
For starters, it wasn't just for old guys who had nothing better to
do. He also told me that you could brew just about any sort of beer in
the world (most of which I hadn't even heard of) and that you can do
it way cheaper than the cheapest bottle shop in the world...

All this sounded pretty good to me, so I got on the phone with
another mate of mine who I knew liked a beer. I told him what my Uncle
had told me and we got cracking. We sourced the equipment (we paid way
too much), bought some basic ingredients and started to brew our first
beer.

We followed the instructions on the kit, seeing that neither of us
had much experience with this. So we added the kit to some water,
threw in the yeast, sealed up the fermenter and let the yeast go to
work.

Over the next few days we took careful measurements with the
hydrometer and then finally we decided the beer was ready to bottle.
We got together again over a couple of beers and put OUR beer into
bottles for conditioning.

Two weeks later we were ready to drink. I felt like a kid at
christmas time. I carefully placed a couple of our beers in the
fridge, like they were our own children or something. I know my mate
was pretty excited too...

But all that excitement soon burst like a balloon. After one sip, we
knew we'd screwed up. I was full of hope, expecting something like my
Uncles lager, but instead, we got this cidery tasting beer.

We were a bit shattered to say the least, but I wasn't ready to give
up. I went and spoke to my Uncle again and got some advice. I
explained everything that we did and it wasn't long before he started
shaking his head.

Apparently we'd broken a few major home brew rules. If you want to
learn how to brew a great beer from scratch and avoid all the mistakes
that I made, you should sign up for my free course below...

So what did I do next?

While my Uncle had helped me get started, I realized that if I
wanted to really become an expert on home brewing, that I'd have to do
some learning on my own. But I had more fun things on my mind.

I'd just decided to go on a three month beer tour of Europe. I fell
in love with the beers over there, it made me even more determined
when I got home...

I was suddenly filled with this passion to brew lagers like the ones
I tried in Munich, or taste those strange ales from Belgium. And even
some of the English beers I had a few of in London.

So I got to work. I bought every book, I read all the articles, I
spoke to home brew "experts" and I even wasted time on internet
forums...

Then I applied what I learnt. My beers were soon getting better and
better. And eventually, after about 3 months, I'd pretty much
perfected my system for brewing just about any style of beer.

And let me tell you, it felt pretty damn good. I was able to taste a
beer and then reverse engineer it, so I could brew something just like
it. There's no more mistakes, there's no more anxious moments just
before I take a sip.

I know that I can brew the beer I want, when I want.

And so do my friends...

I'm not sure if you'll have the same problem I did, but this is what
happened to me. After most of my friends had tried my beer, they were
wanting to know how I did it. Was it hard? Did it take lots of
knowledge and skill? Was it really time consuming?

And here's what I told them:

* Home brew is really easy (once you know HOW to do it PROPERLY)
* It does take some knowledge, but it's not rocket science. I'm
sure anyone who can read can understand how to make beer at home.
* If you can boil water and stir a big pot, then you've got enough
skill to brew beer. Seriously, baking a cake is harder...
* And as for time consuming, well that all depends on you. You can
brew 20L (5 gallons) of beer in about 30 minutes flat, or you can get
a little more intimate with the brewing process and take all day.
Completely up to you...

Soon after hearing this most of my friends were keen. But after a
while the teaching part became a bit time consuming. Yeh, I enjoyed
helping them out, but I started to feel like a broken record.

I realized I needed some sort of manual. Something I could give
people and just say: Go here, get this, read it = Brew good beer. So
that's what I did. I sat down at my computer and started writing my
system out in detail.

It took me a while (I'm not the fastest typer in the world), but I
got there in the end. I went over it again and afterwards decided that
it was more than enough. I was confident that anyone could read it
once and know how to brew the beer they want, whatever that may be.

And I was right, it helped my mates greatly. And that's when I
realized there must be tons of other brewers out there who are
struggling with the same issues I was. And so BetterYourBrewing.com
was born.

When you grab a copy of my downloadable book, you'll:

* Learn how to make great beer, whether it's your first brew or
your twelfth
* Never have to feel embarrassed when you give a friend one of your
beers to try (I had a couple of people laugh at me back in the early
days)
* Suddenly be the guy your friends want to learn from
* Be able to clone ANY beer you want
* Know how to brew this quality of beer at less than 50 cents a
bottle
* No longer have to spend hours reading other materials just to
learn how to brew beer

And that's just a few of the benefits...

Some of the other things you'll learn are:

* How to get all the equipment you need without paying too much
(most brewers buy more stuff than they really need)
* Whether you should buy glass bottles or those new plastic ones
(the answer isn't the same for everyone...)
* How to make bottling easier using a single piece of hard plastic
(you won't lose a drop of beer this way and you don't have to worry
about siphoning)
* The real difference between cleaning and sanitising (and why it's
important for your brewing)
* The top 3 sanitisers to use (using the wrong ones can ruin your
beer in more than one way...)
* When you should use tap water and when you should use bottled
water for brewing your own beer
* The different methods of brewing and when you should step up to
the next level
* The one twist that can turn a kit beer into a world class drink
(and it's so simple you'll kick yourself for not thinking it up
yourself)
* Whether to worry about secondary fermentation or not (you'll
either waste months, or end up with an average beer if you get this
wrong)
* How to brew authentic lager beers (99% of home brewers are
actually brewing ales, even when they think they're brewing lagers...)
* Which malts to use with which beers (this is key to learning how
to clone famous beers)
* The best way to dry hop (and when you should avoid doing it...)
* How to draw out the correct amount of bitterness from your hops
(the difference between just right and extreme bitterness is a very
fine line...)

I'll even show you:

* How to grow your own hops (it's not as hard as I used to think)
* The correct temperature to brew your beer at (so many people get
this wrong it makes me sad)
* The right way and the wrong way to oxygenate your wort (theres a
difference between oxygenation and oxidation...)
* Step by step how to get the mashing process right (as well as
which mashes you should use for which beers...)
* How to boil the wort properly (and avoid the 2 major boil
mistakes)
* My two keys to brewing consistently good beer (one key I learnt
from a business course I took once)
* The five factors to think about when cloning a famous beer (I
betcha never thought of all of these...)
* How to adjust the alcohol levels of your beer so that it's just
right (higher isn't always better)

Plus I've even included twenty of my favorite recipes, so if you
don't want to think, you can just print them out and go for it. I've
included all sorts of beers, so you'll be brewing for a long time
before you ever have to brew the same thing twice...

So here's what I'm offering...

The Better Your Brewing Downloadable Book

This is the book that contains all the nitty gritty. It's my first
book ever, so I'm not the greatest literary genius ever. So if you're
after Shakespeare, you should look somewhere else.

But if you just want the right information to help you brew
unbelievably good beer, then there are paragraphs in this book, whole
chapters in this book that will change your physique forever.

I start off with some background knowledge and quickly move into the
exact techniques you need to be using in order to BREW GREAT BEER FROM
DAY ONE.

No stone is left unturned. It's chock full of: "Do this, then do
that" instructions, so you're never left confused and dazed. It's
written in simple language that even a school kid could understand.

FAST ACTION BONUSES! IF YOU ORDER BY MIDNIGHT , I'LL ALSO THROW
IN...

While the main book will give you 20 recipes to try out, I'm going
to throw this one in as well.

So with an extra 50 recipes at your disposal, chances are you're not
going to get bored brewing any beer.

Included are all the classic styles: German lagers, British Ales,
American Ales and Pilsners, but I've also thrown in some really
different beers that you just have to try.

If you want to clone one of your favorite beers, chances are it's
already in here...

While the main book describes how to brew your kit beers in detail,
I know it's handy to be able to print a single piece of paper out with
step-by-step instructions on it.

And the same goes for extract brewers. Instead of memorising large
chunks of my book, you'll be able to print this single piece of paper
out and just follow the steps...

If you can think of an easier way to do it, please let me know...

And not to be left alone in the dark, All Grain brewers will also
get a detailed sheet explaining when to mash, when to lauter and so
on.

This is the longest document, but I've still managed to keep it to
one piece of paper so it is still really simple...

Once you get a copy of BetterYourBrewing, the fun doesn't stop. You
can sign up to my members only ezine and I'll get in touch with you
from time to time.

I'll be organising interviews with other successful home brewers,
sending you tips when I think of them and basically anything else that
I think you'd find useful.

While I've learnt a lot about brewing thus far, I'm sure I'm going
to learn more over the coming years.

So when I decide to add extra content to the book, you'll be the
first to get a copy at no extra charge.

Alright, that sounds pretty good, sign me up now! [1]

Before we go on, I want to ask you one very important question...

How much would you pay to be able to brew amazing beer time and time
again? If you knew there was only a possibility of success. What would
it be worth to you? $500? $1000? I know a couple of guys who have
spent thousands on their brewery, only to still fail to produce
amazing beer.

Well, I can happily say that this won't cost you thousands, yet it
will allow you to produce amazing beer time after time, I guarantee
it!

And if you were to buy the Better Your Brewing package separately,
let's have a look to see how much it would actually cost you:

You won't waste hundreds (or thousands) of dollars on a brewery.
I'll show you exactly how to build one with minimal cost. It's amazing
how many people go crazy here.

disgusting. Instead, you'll be able to invest some initial time in

You won't waste money buying the wrong ingredients. I wasted a ton
of dough on ingredients that made beer that I ended up pouring down
the drain. You won't have to worry about this since every brew you put

reason to trust me, I get that. It wouldn't be smart to believe me
just because I say so.

And I know there are plenty of dodgy guys on the internet selling
all sorts of junk. But I'm the real deal and I want to prove it to
you.

So I'm going to do something some people have called me crazy for...

"Grab a copy of my book today, apply what you learn and brew your
first batch of beer.

If that first batch doesn't put a big smile on your face and cause
your mates to drop around a lot more often than they used to, just let
me know and I'll give you your hard earned dough back"
