I was so fed up!
Have you ever tried to correct your dog's behaviour? Only to find
that your dog misunderstood your lesson? I bought my first dog years
ago, she was a labrador called Sandy. And as much as I loved her she
could be troublesome at times.
At first, when she was a puppy, she would pee on the carpet in the
middle of the night. No matter how many times I would take her out
into the backyard before bed time, she always saved a little for the
lounge room. (And I can tell you that's the last thing you want to
see, first thing in the morning). I would also find her sitting on the
couch looking up at me innocently. I always demanded she get off the
couch, but she would just climb back on there when I wasn't looking.
She never understood that couches are for people and the floor is for
dogs. No matter what I did, Sandy just didn't learn.
